In addition to innovations in non-contact deformation, vibration and strain analysis with LaVision's StrainMaster systems, visitors were able to learn how to increase the efficiency of spray and coating processes and reduce costs with the SprayMaster inspex und ParticleMaster inspex online monitoring systems.

The Glass-SFR inspex system, also presented by LaVision, which innovatively combines automotive glass inspection with image quality tests of the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), met with a great deal of interest.

In addition, the need to optimize aerodynamic efficiency, interior climate flow and aeroacoustics attracted many visitors to the stand. Here, the colleagues provided information on the most accurate flow field measurements with the FlowMaster PIV- und STB-systems. Particular attention was paid to the innovative Ring-of-Fire approach for measurements under real environmental conditions. The FlowMaster systems can be set-up directly on site, which enables the aerodynamic characterization of the entire wake of the vehicle under conditions that cannot be realized in a classic wind tunnel.
